These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all bookings, services, and use of the website https://empowering-women-photography.co.uk. By using this website or booking a session, you agree to the following terms.

1. Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable session fee is required to secure your booking.

  • The remaining balance is due by the date of the photoshoot or as otherwise agreed.

  • Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received and a confirmation email has been sent.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • You may reschedule your session with at least 24 hours’ notice. One reschedule is permitted per booking.

  • If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or fail to attend, your session fee is non-refundable.

  • In the rare event that we need to cancel your session, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

3. Session Time & Studio Policies

  • Please arrive on time for your session.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late, the session will be automatically cancelled, and the session fee will be forfeited. This helps us respect our time and that of our other clients.

  • Children must be supervised at all times.

  • No mobile phone or camera photography is allowed during the session.

4. Image Delivery & Usage

  • You will receive access to a viewing gallery of not edited photos within 2 days and then to professionally edited images within 2–3 weeks of your selection day.

  • Final images are delivered as high-resolution JPEGs. RAW files are not provided.

  • Image selection is final. Any additional edits or changes requested after delivery may incur a fee.

5. Copyright & Usage

  • Empowering Women Photography retains full copyright of all images taken.

  • You are granted personal usage rights to share and print the images for non-commercial use.

  • Images may not be altered, sold, or used commercially without written permission.

  • Selected images may be used in our portfolio, on social media, or for promotional purposes unless you request otherwise in writing before your session.

6. Artistic Style & Vision

By booking a session, you confirm that you are familiar with and appreciate the artistic style of Empowering Women Photography. We specialise in elegant, empowering, and natural images with gentle retouching and a soft, feminine aesthetic.

All editing and final image choices are made at the photographer’s discretion to maintain this signature look. While we welcome any preferences or inspiration in advance, the final edits reflect our unique vision and approach. RAW/unedited images are not available for release.

7. Client Conduct

Our studio is a safe, respectful, and empowering space for all women. We reserve the right to end a session immediately in cases of disrespectful, inappropriate, or unsafe behaviour. No refund will be issued in such cases.

8. Liability

While every effort is made to provide a safe and professional environment, Empowering Women Photography is not liable for:

  • Any personal injury, property loss, or damage during your session.

  • Delays or issues caused by illness, technical failure, or circumstances beyond our control.

9. Website Use

  • All content on this site, including images and text, is the property of Empowering Women Photography.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without written permission.

  • We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any external websites linked from our site.

10. Privacy

Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of our services or website constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
